How long does it take to install electronics?

Times vary depending on the complexity and number of components involved. A job starts only when it can be completed without delays in order to minimize disruption to our customers. This means we may not start until all ordered parts have arrived. Further, each customer is given an estimate that includes the projected start date and an estimated completion date.

Where does Diversified source replacement parts?

Parts are sourced from Marine OEMs, authorized resellers, electronics manufacturers and more. All warranties are passed along to the customer.

What are Diversified's payment terms?

Customers are given a cost and time estimate for every job. Diversified may require an upfront payment of some or all of the material cost and the remainder is due in full upon completion of the job.

Which payment methods are accepted?

Diversified accepts Venmo, PayPal and personal and business checks.

Is Diversified insured?

Diversified Marine Services is licensed, insured and bonded.

My boat is at a private marina, how can Diversified gain access to it?

Diversified is well-known to metro Detroit marinas and yacht clubs. Diversified is allowed entry by providing proof of insurance and possibly other documentation that varies by marina. Customers may occasionally have to request permission for Diversified to enter but that is rare.

Can Diversified work on my boat if it is in storage?

Yes, Diversified works on boats 12 months a year, even in storage, as long as safe and reasonable access to the boat is available.

Does Diversified work in Canada?

At this time, Diversified is not routinely providing services in Canada but please call or email to discuss your unique situation.
